Dutch doors
Our current abode has a Dutch door leading to the garden. I guess it’s kind of fitting that it is a Dutch door. Unfortunately, it has a flaw: the bottom half opens outwards, and the top half opens inwards. The entire door opens outwards, so really all you can do with it is open the bottom half or the whole door. It is completely the wrong way round and totally useless. So maybe that’s kind of fitting as well…
