While watching Bill Bailey’s Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra last Saturday, the part about news themes sparked a conversation (with this chap) about the 1950s and the cheerful music on newsreels. I have a collection of cheerful muzakesque music like that, so I’ll be posting a track each day.
